Deflect this! Two New Action Sports Brand Ambassadors for DEFLEXION Technology

DEFLEXION™ technology from Dow Corning is teaming up with action sports athletes Xavier de le Rue and Matt Crowhurst to demonstrate how DEFLEXION™ technology can be used by impact protection apparel designers to create tailored, customized impact protection gear for action sports athletes. DEFLEXION™ technology, a patent-pending silicone-based impact protection textile, will be incorporated into impact protection apparel specifically designed and customized for Xavier's and Matt's specific needs - very nice. Apparently both athletes will be involved in the design of their gear from start to finish, helping to select and position the right combination of materials from the DEFLEXION™ product range, which is pretty cool. We wonder if that means design too? DEFLEXION™ technology claims to be breathable and flexible, giving athletes the freedom of movement and comfort they need, without compromising on the level of impact protection provided. What sounds cool about DEFLEXION™ materials is that they are designed to provide impact protection in all conditions whether hot, cold or wet, and remain flexible. They materials can apparently also be easily cut into different shapes, built up in layers and applied exactly where impact protection is required - which makes sense to us considering all other outdoors gear is customisable and has been for a long time. The ContourROAM is a completely cool entry level sports camera with professional features. It's Contour's latest addition to the Contour family and the cheapest. It's incredibly easy to get familiar with and start shooting.
